NGi will indemnify the Assured up to the sum stated in the policy schedule for which the Assured may become legally liable consequent upon any claim(s) made against them during the period of insurance as a direct result of any negligent act, error or omnission in the professional conduct of their business as declared to NGi by the Assured.

The policy will also pay the defense costs and expenses incurred by the Assured subject to written consent of NGi.
