The policy covers Deterioration of Stock in refrigerated or cold rooms/chambers following an incident covered under the Machinery Insurance Policy. Presence of a Machinery Breakdown Insurance policy is a pre-condition for Deterioration of Stock Insurance.
In addition to Monetary Excess, the policy is usually subject to a Time Excess.
