Sudhakaran is a Chartered Insurer by qualification. He has been in the insurance industry in this region for more than 25 years and has the technical expertise and experience in handling various classes of insurance including complex risks.

With his extensive professional experience, Sudhakaran is engaged in insuring major risks of construction, engineering, property, industrial risks, Casualty, Credit insurance (including factoring) Marine Cargo and Hull and bespoke insurance protection for financial institutions & stock brokers etc.

Some of the major accounts he handled or still handling include Power stations in Northern Emirates, Emaar, Nakheel, Union Properties, DIFC, Emirates Bank, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Dubai AUtodrome, Unimix group and various industrial risks.
