Haris holds double degree in medicine from Pakistan and the United States of America. He is a Member of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. Soon after his studies, he started working for a short period with a Pharmaceutical firm in Pakistan and then moved to the Insurance Industry by taking up employment with Allianz-EFU. Dr. Haris was responsible for managing the entire claims department of the Company who at that time had 450 corporate clients besides 200,000 individual policyholders. In the year 2003 he was recipient of Outstanding Performance Award by Allianz EFU Health Insurance and in 2005, Allianz Pakistan Claims department was recognised as the best claims department by Allianz Worldwide.
Dr. Haris also holds MBA degree in health management and hospital administration from Institute of Business Management in Karachi and is a current Member of Institute of Business Management Pakistan.
At NGi, Dr. Haris manages the Healthnet and NGi/AVIVA claims departments whose team of 6 qualified doctors consult with him on complex nature of medical terms.
